Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ShopPolicy (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our tools at shoppolicy.net. This policy covers the ShopPolicy service itself — it is separate from any privacy policy you generate with our tools.
1. Information we collect
- Account data. If you create an account, we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile image.
- Generation inputs. The details you type into a tool (e.g. store name, country). For free tools these are processed to produce your output; if you are signed in with saving enabled, they may be stored against your account.
- Payment data. If you buy a Pro plan, our payment provider Creem collects and processes your payment details. We do not store full card numbers — we only receive transaction and subscription status.
- Usage data. Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
- to provide, maintain, and improve the Service and generate your requested output;
- to manage your account, authentication, and Pro entitlements;
- to process payments and prevent fraud;
- to send essential service emails (e.g. email verification, billing receipts);
- to comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party processors
We share data with vendors only as needed to run the Service:
- Supabase — database hosting for accounts and saved generations.
- Creem — payment processing and subscription management.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Google — optional OAuth sign-in.
- Alibaba Cloud (Bailian / Qwen) — AI generation for the slogan and brand name tools; your inputs to those tools are sent to this provider to produce results.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure sessions. We do not use advertising cookies.
5. Data retention
We keep account and saved-generation data while your account is active. Free-tool inputs from anonymous users are not retained after your output is produced, except in temporary logs. You may delete your account to remove associated data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. International transfers
Our vendors may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
