Terms of Service

Last updated: June 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ShopPolicy (the “Service”), operated from shoppolicy.net. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ShopPolicy provides free and paid (“Pro”) tools that generate template documents and branding suggestions for ecommerce stores — including privacy policies, terms & conditions, shipping policies, slogans, and brand names. The generated output is provided for convenience only.

2. Not legal advice

The Service is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Generated templates are starting points and may not fit your jurisdiction, industry, or specific circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating any output — ideally with a qualified lawyer — before relying on or publishing it.

3. Accounts

Most free tools require no account. To save generations, download PDFs, or access Pro features you may need to create an account, including via Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  • resell, scrape, or systematically extract the Service or its output at scale;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
  • misrepresent generated templates as professionally reviewed legal documents where they are not.

5. Payments and refunds

Paid plans are processed by our payment provider, Creem. By purchasing, you authorize the applicable charge (one-time for the Policy Bundle, recurring for Pro Monthly). Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ShopPolicy and protected by applicable law. Subject to these Terms, you own the documents you generate and may use them for your own store. You may not claim ownership of the Service itself or our underlying templates and clause library.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or legal compliance of generated output. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShopPolicy and its makers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its output. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
